I guess many of you guys are wondering already lor... What we bunch of mah lat lou do every saturday night ha?
Now i tell you this is what we do!!
"I took this during our practice last Saturday. The song in the video is a Chinese folk song, 半个月亮爬上来, literally meaning a half moon climbing up the sky... Well it may sound stupid in English, but it makes lots of sense when you listen to it in Chinese.
In case for those who have no idea what is a choir, it is a group of people singing in different parts (in our case each one of us sings 1 different part), and when matched together it creates a harmonious resonance. Listening to it is great, singing it feels even better--you're part of the music, and it's coming out from you.
Yeah, I know we have serious problem with pitching... But hey it's our first acapella song ok? Have mercy!"
First one is the song that you saw in the video.. And the second one is a buddhist hymn in 4 parts. The files are in AMR format though, hope you get the right codec, I opened it with RealPlayer and there's no problem. Just go and download from da website ok? :)
No, I'm not talking about Seoul in Korea, it's Seoul Restaurant at Plaza Kerinchi, nearby Federal Highway...
You think too much ler hehe.
Seoul Restaurant is a steamboat/bbq buffet restaurant. So basically get have a range of meat to seafood to crabsticks to fu zhok there ready for you to munch on. Nick, me, Nik and Debbie went there on Wednesday night to serve ourselves a stomach-bursting and tongue-savoring dinner.
*Note: Nik and Nick are 2 different ppl ok... Not to be mistaken, one is Debbie's and one is mine XD
Well the food here is not bad I suppose, and the price is resonable for a place with air-cond and enough air sirap for you to abuse on, as well as the fu zhok and crab stick. Nick was dubbed as the Fu Zhok Boy because he ate so many fu zhok that night... Same goes with Nik that ate even more meat XD Debbie was so hooked with the spinach and lamb, while I devoured the beef as much as my 7 cups of air sirap.
Ha caught in action! Nik and Debbie camwhoring! Muahahhahaa!!!
Me and Nick also cam-whore ler... Hehe :P
Great dinner! Next time we shall go Williams!! Muahahhaa!!
SEOUL BOUGOGI KOREAN BBQ ^^
9:28 PM
昨天我们终于来到了这间SEOUL BOUGOGI Korean BBQ。。。Nikles & Debbie也有一起因为约好了。。。真有点不好意思,Debbie有考试还要迁就我的时间出来吃东西,下次我请客哦!!!
A Feast of/by Our Own! Now I for a person that never goes to the kitchen in centuries will never know that I can actually COOK.
Yes, you heard me right, I COOKED.
Alright, maybe it's just putting a pile of things together but hey it's some effort there ok?
It all started when...
(Setting: 2 weeks ago) Lum: "Hey I can cook Tom Yam fried rice you know." Nick: "Then cook la! Next saturday we cook at ah ba house!" Lum: "But not fun la like that... I cook onli..." Nick: "Then we ma all cook together lor!" Ah Ba: "Yalor! One person one dish lor!"
And so, the disaster begins... Nick, me, Lum, Yun Yun, Ah Ba and Gold Bear put on a feat to cook ourselves dinner for once in a blue moon. Each of us supposed to come up with one dish, so we'll have like 6 dishes in total.
Before showing you how the disaster took place, let me show you how the dishes turned out...
By Nick! Fried/Grilled Ham roll stuffed with crab meat and CHEESE!! You KNOW I'm a sucker for CHEESE~~
By Grey! Fried EGG topped with cucumber and tomato! (Simple right? Told ya I never knew I can do something like this! WOOT!)
By Ah Ba! The traditional fried Fatt Choy with all the shrooms you can ever think of (Bao Yu Gu, Gam Zham Gu, Dong Gu, Western Mushroom... Excuse me but I have no idea what is it called in english XD)
By Lum! The Main dish, Tom Yam Fried Rice! Damn sour, bit bit spicy, I LOVE IT!!! All da soury goodiness!
By Yun Yun! Fried potatoes with Luncheon Meat! And it really tastes great! :D
By Gold Bear! Vegetarian Sweet&Sour Pork! Vegetarian pork means fried tofu... Not bad at all! Save the half bottle of tomato sauce thrown into this dish~
By Lum again! The biggest star of the night! ABC Soup with pickled vege and tofu! The taste sooo strong, and it's GREAT!!
So long for all the goodiness... Well the portion is really big though, we all really can't finish even HALF of the food. All of us cooked each dish to match 6 person... So it's kinda like 6dishx6portion=36person, now how can we finish a 36 person dinner? Lol..
Nevertheless, it was really fun though!
Allow Nick to introduce you to the making of the disaster!
